Delivery & Installation
RGO has the ability to locally deliver and install furniture within The City of Edmonton and The Greater Edmonton Area (St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Parkland County, Sturgeon County, Fort Saskatchewan, Strathcona County and Leduc County).
The local Delivery & Install fee for seating is $50.00. Please select the delivery option at checkout.
The local Delivery & Install fee for HAD Desks & Office Bundle is $185.00. Our local install rate will be added automatically with the product. Delivery rate will be added at checkout. Please select the delivery option at checkout.
If you are outside our local delivery above, we can ship to Red Deer and North of Red Deer within the province of Alberta. Please email shop.edm@rgo.ca for a quote.
We use local couriers and determine the most cost-efficient freight rate depending on your location.
If you live within Alberta and are South of Red Deer, please call 403-569-4400 or go to Your Quote to create a retail quote for product and delivery.
If delivery and/or installation are required as part of the order, the following provisions will apply.
- SCOPE: Scope is defined as the installation of the purchased products, in the configuration agreed upon by the Buyer and RGO as represented in the order provided by RGO. Changes to the order which represent a change of scope may result in additional fees which are the responsibility of the Buyer.
- PRICING: Pricing may vary, depending on the Buyer's location, as well as the conditions surrounding delivery (eg. apartment, residential address, commercial address, elevator access loading dock access, stair carry, etc.)
- ACCESS: The Buyer's job site/delivery location shall be accessible, with all construction complete, and free & clear of debris. Delays resulting from any hindrance to access resulting from, but not limited to, incomplete construction, construction debris, presence of other trades, obstacles to delivery, etc. will be charged to the Buyer in the form of a "Change Order".
- JOB SITE SERVICES: The Buyer, or Buyer's Representative, is responsible for ensuring all necessary arrangements are made with regards to elevator/loading dock booking, security, flagging, and electrical/data trades to coincide with the RGO install without charge to RGO.
- DELIVERY/INSTALLATION DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS: Delivery and Installation will be made during normal daytime working hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, excluding statutory holidays). Additional charges will apply for Overtime work performed at the Buyer's request. Delivery dates/times are not guaranteed at the time of order acceptance, and are subject to a delivery/installation schedule being confirmed by the Buyer and RGO.
- DELIVERY CANCELLATIONS: If the Buyer cancels or changes a scheduled delivery appointment within 48 hours of the originally agreed upon delivery date, additional fees may apply.
- PROTECTION OF DELIVERED GOODS: Goods delivered to the job site as scheduled shall be inspected and conditionally accepted by the buyer. Once onsite, responsibility for the security and safeguarding of the delivered goods shall pass to the buyer.
- DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND DEFICIENCIES: RGO will make every effort to substantially complete the project and not delay delivery and installation due to damages, losses, and deficiencies, unless these are considered material to the overall project. Any damages or losses that occur during shipment or within RGO's control during delivery and installation will be repaired or replaced as determined by RGO in conjunction with RGO's manufacturer and/or shipping partners. Any damages or losses that occur outside of these situations will be the responsibility of the Buyer for replacement or repair. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to provided a secured delivery location to control any damage or loss that occurs after the delivery of the goods.
Deliveries by Courier/Common Carrier & Freight Claims
The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of products being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than RGO, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold RGO harmless from this claim. The Buyer is responsible for all fees associated with the common carrier.
